Misco are selling it for £350, could I ask them for the extra £50 required to buy from Misco? After all they DID deliberately decline my offer even though they have it in stock at a higher price?
Do you work? If so, you have already spent more than £50 worth of your time pursuing this pointless complaint ...Is there anything else I can do? Or write? To at least show them that I am serious and I will pursue this properly.
How do you intend to pursue this properly?!!Gone ... or have I?0 -

My problem is that what they have done so far is taken my money, put the price up once they got close to getting the stock in and then declined my order saying they haven't got the stock. Thats what really ticks me off, they are basically defrauding me.0 -

I'm not sure how it's defrauding you unless they're keeping your money.
In the end if this company is so really bad why are you so desperate to get a product from them and therefore be completely reliant on them in future for product support?
All you seem to be doing is winding yourself up and deliberately trying to get yourself even further involved with this company and therefore increasing the exact negative aspects you're complaining about. I don't think this is really about your rights or what you're entitled to. You're miffed and you have a right to be but all you seem to be interested in is revenge. And that I'm afraid doesn't come free and so you're really a fool to yourself if you're so serious about pursuing this when you can get all your money back and be in the same position as before (which is what the small claims court would do if they found in your favour anyway)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Well I just rang them up today and it turns out they got stock in ON FRIDAY!!!! AND I GOT THE EMAIL ON FRIDAY!!!!
What this clearly shows is that they have basically declined my order and tried to sell it at a higher price. Cheats.0 -

Not cheats, just business I'm afraid.Gone ... or have I?0 -
If I was you I wouldn't wish to have any more dealings with them. Ask for a full refund and order it elsewhere. You can then go to various watchdog websites etc. and get your revenge that way. Be careful that everything you say about them is accurate though.Running Club targets 20105KM - 21:00 21:55 (59.19%)10KM - 44:00 --:-- (0%)Half-Marathon - 1:45:00 HIT! 1:43:08 (57.84%)Marathon - 3:45:00 --:-- (0%)0

Hence my (kind of rhetorical) question: "In the end if this company is so really bad why are you so desperate to get a product from them and therefore be completely reliant on them in future for product support?""She is quite the oddball. Some guys on here are great at telling consumers to shut up, truth is many years ago i was in a dixons shop, saw a car stereo i liked and handed the salesman my cash requesting the item.
At the till i was informed that the item could not be sold to me as it had been priced incorrectly, gob smacked i asked the guy next to me "can you believe that", he said "no" and told me to "phone trading standards and heres my business card if u need a witness"
45 minutes later trading standards informed me that taking of payment was "acceptance" of offer to buy and if dixons refused to sell the item to me i could go elsewhere to buy it and sue dixons for the difference.
i contacted the dixons manager relaying ths info and gave him name of ts guy i had spoke to, 15mins later they caled me back to say
"come and collect your stereo", i would imagine with all that paper copies you wouldn't need a witnessclick here to achieve nothing!0 -

The big (huge) difference between your situation and that of the OP is that you were in a face to face transaction. In that situation the law is much more clear cut and goes back to precedent set years ago (the Boots case mentioned earlier is one example).
Electronic transactions are treated differently, and look to the t&c's of the contract.Gone ... or have I?0
