I only have a Tesco local so not happy  . Do you think it could have been the quality of the print or did the checkout girl refuse. Perhaps i will print just one and try my local store. I will let you know how I got on.

No, It does not work at all. The till beeps which means either:
1. The coupon isn't recognised by Tesco tills as relating to a product they stock, or
2. The tills have been pre-set with this one to work only if you buy the product.
I suspect it's the former as Tesco are never that quick at blocking a coupon unless it's one of their own from their magazine (and they even miss some of them, lol!).
There's a possibility that later on the coupon will get programmed into the till, especially as they are named on the coupon as a stockist. That would depend on whether or not it's working if you do buy the product; they will no doubt only realise to centrally enter this barcode onto the tills if it's NOT working at all and people buying the product complain.
So has anyone bought the product in Tesco and tried it, so we know where we stand?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

:rotfl:I noticed from the PTS forum that there is currently a glitch with the Tuborg £1 coupon - it's letting you print off as many copies as you like (as opposed to the usual 2). Just keep answering 'No it did not' and you'll hopefully be allowed to print again...and again....and again.....!

Please note that it doesn't appear to be working for everyone though.

Please everyone, take note, this is dead serious (and don't ignore this just because I don't have a massive post-count!) ...
I recently found this thread and like loads of you, though yeay, let's do some 'moneysaving' :T and started merrily printing off vouchers... ooops silly me...
Later that day, OH arrives back and wants to know what this new program is I have downloaded. Surprisingly he wasn't as over the moon as I thought he should be - it turns out the above coupon-printing bit of software can be maliciously amended and this nasty new version then infests the registry when it's downloaded - to the non-techie people out there (which included me!) this can be VERY VERY bad - it actually couldn't get more serious - potentially. Apparently the worst case could be your keystrokes could be logged and sent back to a nasty person who would then know all your passwords, don't spose I need to go on ...
The less nasty possible side-effects are pop-ups suddenly appearing all over, and more worryingly, your computer could be taken over (become part of a 'botnet' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Botnet ). My OH actually had experience of this in his office on a colleague's PC - she suddenly realised she had an icon on her screen that shouldn't have been there, and when she went to investigate deleting it, the hijacker actually took over her mouse, and shut down the PC right in front of her eyes!! The fact that someone had been watching everything she'd been doing completely freaked her out. Queue immediate PC re-install!!!
These things are amazingly hard to get rid of - you can't un-install them, and they are very difficult to completely delete because bits of the files stay in the memory even when the rest of it looks gone. We have now used Spybot which works by erasing the program effectively before Windows starts up, but the only permanent and completely safe answer is to re-install Windows. OH says this might seem a bit drastic to some people but in his line of work (SEO consultancy) he can't be too careful.
Even if you have firewalls or other spyware detection programs, these won't necessarily work because you are saying it's a trusted bit of software by voluntarily installing it!! The worst of it is that you can't actually tell if the download is infected or not - so by no means am I saying that ALL versions of this program are bad, it's not that simple  but definitely, the link I was sent to from this thread gave my computer this problem, not sure if it was the beer or the smoothie site which did it but one of them did! (and I am sooooooooo in the doghouse because of it).
Believe me, I am the first to tell my mum off when she perpetuates 'chain-email' hoaxes (she still never checks sites like hoaxslayer  ) but my OH knows what he is talking about with these. If you want to check anything before you install in, just type the name of the program and "spyware" (eg couponprinter.exe spyware) in Google and you'll see for yourself if others have experienced problems.
Unfortunately there's no simple answer here. I know everyone wants to save money but presumably not at the expense of your own security... Just think twice and see if there's any other way to get these savings. Hope this info helps and people take it in the spirit it's intended
Sorry for looooooooooooooooong post!0 -
Ive never had any problems with couponnet software over the past 2 years.
My spyware software blocks and removes it after about 5 minutes of installing it but when I want to print new coupons I just re install.
