I dont actually understand why tesco wont eventually be able to redeem it. Surely if it is a genuine manufacturer coupon then they must be able to get there money back
Also it was the manufacturer that generated this coupon and put a date of apr next year on it so they must have realised what they were doing you would think.
I for one know that I will actually buy mitchum and try it with this coupon.0 -

I shall be using 1 a week in Asda without buying it.
I use about 25% in coupons (self imposed to keep a low profile) all high value to I only give 5/6 coupons to SA.
I am very new to this had no idea didn't have to buy product, mentioned it to my mother who is a Tesco shopper she said she has seen people at the tills with handfuls of coupons for as long as she can remember at least 15-20 years she said! obviously no internet printed ones then though.

Hmm, this is not what I was told.. I was told they would take 10% and it was totally up to the discretion of management, and if management didn' want to take any they could refuse... Wish they'd have one policy that was nationwide!!
I got exactly the same email. Problem is when the store rings CS to verify - this has happened to me twice. First time CS told the store it was totally discretionary (so store said two only just for that one shop) and the second time CS told the store that coupons were totally acceptable (as per email).
So even armed with the email, I was refused in the first store. On top of store confusion, there is even inconsistency within CS. Have mentioned these problems with CS and they "have noted it."0 -

Thanks but that looks like a scan which I do not think we should even try..... It is too small to do anything with, all the print is illegible and if you use this I think you are pushing your luck big time! - Happy to hear others opinions!!:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!

I emailed companies (Mars click here )
(johnsons click here)
(purina click here)
(lovethe garden click here)
and simply email them asking if they send money off coupons by post? then leave your name and address.
I received 2 x £1 from Mars ( 1 for dolmio, 1 for uncle bens - ALONG WITH a HUGE file of recipes for both companies of them and some Dolmio minced beef bolognese sauce, dolmio penne pasta, and uncle bens long grain rice) :rotfl:
I received 1 x £2 from johnsons
I received 2 x £1 from love the garden
I receieved 1 x £5 , 1 x 75p & 1 x £1 from Purina.
Thats £12.75 in MOC for 4 emails!!
Well worth it I think!
I just wanted to add that, after emailing Purina a random pet-related question a few days ago, I received a £5 voucher from them through the post yesterday - brilliant!

i got pulled in tesco today- first time. the lady i usually go to wasn't there so i went to another (no teenagers or young men in my local tesco!) and she called the manager. I had to stand there like a lemon while the manager scrutinised every coupon and then went round the store checking that they sold the item.
think i might have to try another tesco soon.
does anyone on here live in north london and use the tottenham store? are they ok with coupons? or any other store local to hackney/islington that anyone knows of?2011- new year, new start.
January 2011 g/c- £150
