I have posted the link below for the puppy pack and £2.50 MOC - many of my friends have done this- The thing is I don't have a puppy !!!!
I am a law abiding person and always have been but am so poor, have also
signed up for a pampers baby pack in the past purely for the coupons.
JUST WONDERED WHAT OTHERS THINK AND IF OTHERS DO THIS

The thing is that coupons through the post or on pkts are a dying breed-they are all online.

Welcome to MSE to all the newbies! :T
Just to say that the point in bold would make me laugh if they did put up such a notice, seeing as 'e-coupons' are those to be used on the internet (with an online code).
I think what your store might mean are internet-printed coupons, there's a subtle yet very important difference, which is the latter have a barcode.:rolleyes:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

OK thanks, I'm still new at all this and haven't built up my confidence yet at what I'm handing over to the cashier......Nice to see the coupon issuers appear to have a sense of humour anyway.
Got two £1 and two 50p!! The £1 ones expire 9/7 50p are 18/7 should be able to use em.....:T
OK been in a thread in pts where I noticed that all of the above coupons had my postcode printed around the edge of them!! (Also under the use by date but that's microscopic!) Anyway, not totally comfortable with this  so went on a registry/cookie hunt!
For those that are interested my findings (Copied from pts) are below, if this is the wrong place/thing to do please feel free to delete
OK I think I've cracked the postcode thingy. I downloaded a cookie viewer 'Karen's Cookie Viewer' and went through all my cookies!!!!(There are hundreds) Anyway found one (Right at the end of course) that was from (I think) www.couponnet.com (Sorry deleted the cookie before I thought to note it) which had a string in it with my postcode (I think I recently printed out an Actimel one 40p [One of the yogurt drinks anyway]that had my postcode on it......It may have picked it up from there??)
Deleted that cookie [Reboot] and now prints 99999 where postcode was.....:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!
:p :rotfl:;)

Just as a note I strongly advise paying cash and not using a clubcard - I would get the points added on afterwars as a bulk - non tracable that way.
Welcome! :T
Just to add to the discussion, IMHO there's no reason why people using coupons should be advised pay the balance in cash and then get the points added afterwards in bulk. In fact quite the opposite if everyone wants to follow Tesco national policy.
The Tesco coupon policy states that a customer can pay for all their shopping using coupons if they are all different. Is your store one of the many who didn't read the policy last year when it was sent out? There's a copy of the policy on MSE posted somewhere, or you could have root back in last June's 'CSM Daily Updates' if you are allowed, the wording is clearly spelt out there.
Also if you get points added later in bulk, regularly, then THAT'S a sure-fire way to fall foul of the Tesco Police at Dundee. Don't do it and don't be tempted to womble (pick up) anything except the odd till-spit, all you newbies!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just a thought about the (S) bounty pack - says you need to buy nappies- could buy them, get the pack and then go back for a refund the next day.

Hi all. as stated in my first post I am a 'newbie' so forgive me for not using the correct jargon, I have joined this forum as I like everyone else am feeling the pinch and have to use coupons to pay for my weekly shop.
When talking about 'e coupons' I meant coupons that have a barcode that you print online rather than obtaining through the post- I realise now that it not the correct term to use !!!
Regarding (T) 'national policy' they don't have one !!!! It largely varies from store to store ( I have experienced this).
Went into my local express store today and was told by the C/O manager that they only permit 5 coupons at the SS till, this is in contrast to policy that you can pay for your whole shop in coupons as long as the coupons are different.:eek:0 -
I think maybe this will clear a few things up with everyone. This IS the TESCO NATIONAL Coupon policyNo more arguments
