What a fab thread - I just didn't realise how useful all these coupons are. From now on, I'm going to hang on to them all and make a point of shopping instore every now and then rather than the usual on-line delivery.
Thanks everyone.0 -
Like Queenriderbrekke :hello:- I would also like to know where & how I can find out more about this recycling scheme at Tesco's? Where can you find out about earning points by recycling soft drinks cans?
Can Anyone advise please ?
Hi
If you go on to Tesco website, think it the section where stores are, this will tell you what stores havew the recycling facilities, originally it was about 12 stores, (our store was brand new top of the range - environmentaaly friendly etc), I know they have extended the list of atores with the recycling facilitiy.
can't miss them there about 50ft long x 10ft wide, unit.
Those with recycling machines there is a large poster on there saying about 2 points per can, but they still recycle other items.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Which store is the best to use coupons, as I keep getting problems in Tesco. I went to Tesco Metro in Bristol yesterday and girl on till said we had to buy product, then supervisor said they could take them if they stocked product but would have to search store and check each item, depending on which till you go on they all differ, meanwhile queue behind me was tutting and sighing:o . The last time I used vouchers in Asdai was told their policy wasapr 1/3 of shopping could be vouchers, but plz bear in mind a lot of people have had issues with Asda with print off coupons me included, they wouldnt accept them as they said they could be photocopied, but the ones generated off couponnet are security numbered.

I do think Tesco are best, and at least that Supervisor knew what the policy really is (one of each). So that's a good start.
I have come across stores that say they have to check their store stocks the item; usually in a small store like a Metro. They worry particularly about magazine coupons as they have to redeem them directly with their mag supplier and can't get away with it unless they do stock the mag in question.
Large stores and Extras normally understand that the policy is in fact that 'Tesco have to stock the item' (not that the store itself has to stock the item).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi,
I tried to use the new Eve coupon yesterday and it wouldn`t scan. The barcode is a little unclear like last months.
Could someone possibly use the barcode generator to clean it up and post a link like last month please.
I tried to do it myself but couldn`t do it.
Thanks.0 -
I agree, it would be useful if someone could help with a clearer barcode on the Eve printable, please? I have found it has to be manually input every time.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
