£7.50 per MB for vodafone mobile internet!!
apparantly as my tarrif is so old, i don't get the 15MB for £1 thing that vodafone offer, no, I get to pay £7.50 per for just 1 MB!!!!!
so while others pay £7.50 for the so called unlimited package of 500 MB , i get to pay the same amount for 1 MB, so people on the newest tariffs get 500 times more than me.
If i was to use 500 MB like the people on the umlimited internet package it would cost me £3750!! £7500 per gigabyte!!
But it's ok i can change to a new tariff and pay either £1 for 15 MB a day or £7.50 for 500 MB a month , but only if i extend my contract for 6 months. I'm 14 months into a contract, why on earth would i want to extend it at this stage...(or any stage)?
goodbye vodafone ASAP

I think what you have said is total crap.
Vodafone offered £1 a day for 15MB on a pay if you use it method or like myself I get 120MB for 7,50 a month, the data bundle available before 01.05.08.
As of 01.05.08 the bundle had changed to 500mb or unlimited on fair use, its available to all new customers and old.
If you want the bundle for 7.50 for 500mb you can turn it on and off as you want, or £5 for 500mb per month is you agree to pay that till your contract expires (no extension)
You can change your tariff but this will extend your current contract by 6 months.
Rather than get irate about this, go check out the options at vodafone own eForum and ask the guys at vodafone straight.

Does anyone know if they are planning to offer this on business tariffs (currently £7.50 for 10MB!) as no longer competitive with o2, but this new bundle is.
Many thanks

Hi kai666
The cost for data may vary depending on the plan you're on. If you're on an old plan where data was charged at £7.50 per MB, you'll continue to be charged at this rate.
I'd like to have a look at your account in order to give you more specific advice as I'm sure there's something we can change with your price plan to give you the lower data charges and hopefully keep you as a Vodafone customer.
If you'd like me to do this, please contact me using our Online Contact Form and include the code FIT135 in the body of your email. This code ensures your email reaches our eForum Team.
Thanks

I wish it was total crap. I can post their email if you don't believe me...
The reason it has been charged differently for you is because of the price plan you're on. Your currently on one of our old price plans that are no longer available to change to (unless you were already on it, in which case you may stay on it). In order to be charged the rates above, your plan needs to be changed to one of our anytime price plans. If you'd prefer to stay on your current plan, you'll be charged £7.50 per MB of data. If you'd like to change your price plan, please let me know and I'll be happy to run through this with you0 -
So Hopefullyuseful1, are there plans to let larger business customers have the £7.50 unlimited (500MB cap) option instead of £7.50 per 10MB?
Many thanks
