unwanted LPG

I'm with Flogas for my LPG supplies.
Ihave 800 litres of unwanted propane delivered the day before i planned to give notice on my account, Just bad timing I suppose.
We were using the companies top up scheme but because we hadn't had a delivery since Nov 07 I assumed i had cancelled it but they tell me not so.
They are arrangoing the uplift of the tank but are now telling me there is no credit system for returned gas.
In efffect I have paid for this gas which they will pump out and then re sell, two lots of return on 800 litres of gas.

to the question
Does anyone know if it is possible to recycle/sell on the contents of the tank, the tank is thiers but the contents are legally mine so technically not crediting the contents is theft

I'd hazard a guess that there was something in your contract with them along the lines that any unused gas in the tank becomes their property when you stop paying any standing charge payable on the tank and/or you terminate your contract with them

 I have a poll / discussion on Economy 7 / 10 off-peak usage (as a % or total) and ways to improve it but I'm not allowed to link to it so have a look on the gas/elec forum if you would like to vote or discuss.

you're probably right but I'll have a look at the small print.
But I've decided to put a stop on the uplift until I use the gas up.

Our LPG back boiler died last Jan and I was planning to replace it with a multifuel unit but thats going to have to go on hold for a while. :(
hope its not too cold next winter:snow_laug with just the gas fire boiler front to heat the house
