Thanks sarah skint for the heads up! (post number 808 page 41...in case you wanted to find her THANKS button like me:D)
Just ordered some for mum and her friend.
Also ordered a perfume to bump up the spend to nearer £60 (to get the 600pts :D)
600pts works on the amount the order originally was, so for instance 56 bottles costs £61.04, so it then gives you the 600pts anyway for a £19.04 spend(34p each instead of £1.09 from £2.19) and then 656 points too

I just got the photo scrap books for 18p each,BOGOF & 200 points on each lot. 90p spend = 1000 points!

Now that's how I like Bootsing!

Also had 9 til spits...Nothing under £8 & it's been like that for days. Took 4 lots of mens TD stuff for til & kicked up a bit of a fuss about the shelves being empty & not being able to use my vouchers up. I also pointed out that it didn't say excluding mens ranges...Hey presto the manager said I could have them on this occassion!

I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:

Hi Sonee, I know the feeling well. My online order arrived recently, soaking wet from a leaking product. I rang CS within 5 mins of receiving it. Got an apology and a reminder that they would speak to the courier, and was told the same as you. Take it back to the store or return to dot.com. That was it!!

Personally I think CS may have had enough of people who make bogus or exaggerated claims, and are told to keep products (or whatever) and then sell the stuff on Ebay.

People like this spoil it for people like us, the genuine claims. I examined the rest of the products after my phone call and found other leaking products. I was really angry by then. I contacted CS on the appropriate form and have not heard a word since. Neither do I expect to. They can have my order back, and will select my orders with care from now on. A system that gets abused will always bite back eventually. The few can spoil it for the many It's very sad but true.
I have had problems with an online order too, my GWp was at the bottom of the parcel and was all squashed, advised that I could return it but as it was now out of stock would not receive a replacement, also one of the items was broken, again this was out of stock so had to opt for refund. I was advised to return it and I would get a refund.

I have returned the item and have been advised of the refund ( just under a week after returning) however I paid by paypal so the refund going there ( costs to withdraw money from paypal !!! ) plus the payment has been put on hold and will not be in my paypal account for another 5 -7 working days.

CS were vey unsypathetic to me too however I was 'allowed' to keep my damaged GWP as a goodwill gesture.

Please be aware if paying via paypal as refund process longer than if you have just paid by card.
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

ooo I like this.. any extra codes or points to be had before I check out (thru quidco of course!) TIA x

You may have this already, but there is a code in the Boots discount codes thread that will give you 500 points (I think it works if you only spend £30, although it says you have to spend more), and of course you get the 600 points automatically if you spent £60. And if you need £10 worth of healthcare items, you get 200 points for that (as well as the other things that are also in-store - points on some Natural Collection, Elizabeth Arden, Ruby and Millie, baby products). hth

Might be worth noting for people who like to use point based cards that some retailers like tescos offer deals where the points is more than the value of what you spend, just look out for the promotion and rembmer the simple maths.
