:T Oh i may do that in the morning

Is it £10 you have to spend to get a tillsplit thingy

i found my health card it had come and i had stuck it in a pile on the desk

My sons pull up pants will be half price with that....it is abit naughty that the parenting club is only allowed for under two year olds when i have been buying some sort of nappies/pull ups for a very very very many years due to problems.

I will have to do some hard con centrating in boots tomorrow i feel like i am going for an exam to get the best results or i will be sulking in here shamefaced.:rotfl:

Erm where would i get a parenting voucher or am i not allowed that one?
    Thankyou

Hi , i'm a novice bootser and mainly a lurker to this site, but try and read up most days and enjoy all your great shops.DH had to take our son to a hospital approx 70 miles away for a mri scan today, so suggested we might go shopping at Exeter(50 miles) on our way. spent fair bit of time yesterday reading up and making notes. first shop .... got to boots store realised i had left list at home anyway couldn't find any cheap items to spend £5 till spits on but did find 3 mens TD shaving balm ,also picked up 3 colgate tpaste and found some old roc bags ,which were free with purchase. went to an upstairs till till wouldnt accept mens TD,young sa couldn't over ride till & other sa busy so suggested i went to pay downstairs . tried TD but till wouldnt accept it sa asked the till supervisor but she said mens balm didnt count for offer , sa put through my other goods 3 tpaste, gum,& roc £1.67 to pay omg roc went through as .00& sa didnt notice. second shop.....By now DH had come into shop looking for me & hungry so he picked up a drink & wrap i picked up another roc bag and a TD handcream & few other bits . went to different sa who as she was putting goods through said to pick up some crisp as then meal deal would be cheaper (nice of her i thought)whilst getting crisp she put rest of shopping through she realised roc went through as.00 you cant have this without buying more roc products (drat thinks me) i'll leave it for now i said.next i hand over £5 ts for TD handcream cant have that with voucher she said cant u try says me i'm sure my friend got it using ts the sa wouldn't even try (c-w i thought) i leave it then .not so good never mind i,m learning

Always INSIST they scan the spit on the TD HANDCREAM.
It DOES go through so ask they call a manager by which time they may just try scanning it to avoid a confrontation.

On the front page of this thread it says that ipods are being discontinued, though in the free boots magazine my Mum picked up the other day it says they are selling the new style ipod nanos and there is a piccy of one too, so I'm thinking maybe they have changed their minds and are infact still selling them, I'm hoping to pick one up with my points, been saving them up for ages.

Evening all! Went bootsing (again!) today just to use up the till spits ;)

    TD facial wipes x2 - £7.98
    Boots ultra towels - £1.79
    Walker Sunbites crisps - 53p
    Kleenex Balsam tissues - 49p
    Total = £10.79

    Handed over -
    £5 skincare voucher
    1/2 price Walkers sunbites (ACM)
Free kleenex tissues (from Haymax packet)
100pts WYB 2 time delay (ACM)
£2 gift vouchers (free from doing skincare trial from litmustest)
    TOTAL TO PAY - £3.04
Got 108pts bringing my total up to 6092!

Got another till spit so went to another boots and bought TD anti blemish for £1.25

I tried to put all of this through the SS till but when it got to putting through the gift vouchers it wouldn't let me do it! Ended up having to void the whole thing and an SA tried to put it through a proper till. Problem was I had stuck all my vouchers in the SS till and the SA wouldn't believe me when I told him what vouchers I had used. Told me I could only use one voucher per shop! Stood my ground and told him the SS accepted them so should he. He then said he was going to let me have one of the wipes for free (he wasn't going to scan it through) but i wanted to use my 100pt ACM voucher (was that the right thing to do???) Still wouldn't believe that I had used other vouchers so I had to wait for ages for him to open up the SS till and take out all the vouchers I had used)

For all you London Bootsers -
large boots on Oxford street still has loads of epson printer cartridges and photo paper. Also has a HUGE amount of the TD wipes! Also has the canvas bags.

Boots in bond Street tube clearance has loads of Ted Baker for men and Hackett shampoo and shaving stuff, there were a few pairs of tights for the ladies (no TD wipes)

Boots, Regents St (near Oasis and topshop) has loads of reduced Hackett stuff (no TD wipes).

Boots, Carnaby Street had some reduced Ted Baker stuff too. They also have some of the elusive TD hand cream and a few TD wipes in stock (I nearly bought the hand cream but went for the anti blemish stuff instead).

Off topic, went to the hairdressers today to snip off the split ends (and about another 6 inches) and now I hate my hair! Not what i was expecting, looked ok in the salon when he spun me around and showed me the back but when I got home and had a proper look I started to take a pair of scissors to it because it's really annoying me now!

I have now run out of till spits and my bank account can breathe a sigh of relief! (just need to find somewhere to stash my haul now!)

thanks Hogshead as i'd forgot my list i was n't sure if the TD handcream would work or not.at my local Boots in North Cornwall i do tend to ask the sa to try vouchers, but its fairly small & doesn't have many items to get the various glitches on eg they didn't have the N0 7 highlighters,or the lipglaze i had to make atrip 40 miles away to get both of these
