I am a member of the health club...can i get any of these offers at half price or does it dpend on what your 3 options are? Also will till do automatic reduction or should I have handed a health club voucher over ? I think I did get one...don't know what I did with it but could be wrong !?!?

(printed the list off in anticipation)

You will get the half price offers regardless of your options. (I change mine regularly online)

You normally get an activation voucher, but if you ask the sa they have an activation code that will trigger the reductions. Best to ask them to scan items first, so they can check that it is activated.

There is no problems doing it this way, I know from experience, as last year my card kept 'losing' my HC discount. You can also get the discount online (quite recent) but you have to use a code. Problem about this is, you then cannot use any of the exptra pts codes, so it's not really worth it.

In the T & C it states that if an item in the hc is also on offer/reduced you don't get the reduction, you just get the 50% off. But I have had both 50% off & the reductions on occasions:shhh: :shhh:

I haven't bought anything off the list yet but I think you get half price on everything whatever your 3 choices are. I also think the till should do it automatically but have the voucher in my purse just in case. I am going to buy some vitamins next week so will see what happens:D
    Let me know bunbun2

where exactly is the clearance shelf?
    thanks

    hi manila!
it has moved from its usual spot.i found it about half way down the store. it's a bit hard to describe. walk down the far left make up aisle and when you get to the end it should be opposite or close to that area. It's is on the end of the near opposite aisle as if it was facing to the front of the store.
does any of that make sense!! if only i could post maps on here(!!).
    HTH.

    Ode to Boots

    I'm staring out the window,
    I can't believe it's true.
The tears are flowing from my eyes,
    Whatever will I do?

The empty hours, the lonely days,
how will I fill my time?
It's all so wrong, can't be allowed
It really is a crime. :(

I wring my hands, I wipe my tears
    To myself I must commit
Life must go on, it's not the end
I've spent my last till split

    :j :j :T :T _party_ _party_

You've spent your cash, arranged your stash,
    Your house resembles a store.
My friend, all is not lost, be brave,
The hours will soon be full once more.

Yes, be brave Polls Dolls, 'tis not the end,
Take a TD wipe and dry your eyes.
Mr Boots knows what he's doing,
He'll be listening to your cries.

Life goes on, even without Boots,
An empty life though, innit?
Just when you think you've seen the last tillspit,
There'll be a new one along in a minute :D

Not sure if this has been posted but Boots are currently giving 1,000 points when you buy two Clarins products but one must be skin care. They are also giving 500 points when you buy two Clinque cosmetics.
    I'm chuffed with my haul.
I got a Clarins sun lotion and face block = 1,000 points.
Calcium tablets = 150 points for buying any vitamins (HC voucher)
Packet of paracetomal = £1 off WYS £4 in HC department(HC voucher)
75 pts WYS £10 (AC machine)
100 pts WYS £10 (HC voucher)
    'Normal' points = 16
Double points voucher = 156 (maybe someone else can work that out!)
So grand spend £39.21 with 1497 points
Not magnificent but I'm happy :T
Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

I buy lots of things that are in the Health Club - and the till lets me have the offers too. You can get items on 3 for 2 (such as vitamins, Slimfast etc) and also get the 50% off - and I have used vouchers too. Best bet is usually the Pharmacy counter - as the Health Club is their "department" and have the activation code at the till if it doesn't work - ans they don't seem to read the vouchers too closely either!!

If I was taking that amount of the same product there is no way I would display it all. I would have 5 out at a time...Mainly due to the fact that if buyers see you have loads of the same product they want it for nothing!
If you did it that way no one would know you had loads either. ;)

hi everyone, just a quick question

over the past couple months ive ordered around £150 off stuff from boots.com and am due a lot of points from that although i went to collect them today at the ACm in store and it didnt work.

turns out ive got my old card registered to my online account and havent used it for about 3 years (since before my son was born).

if i give them a phone do u think they will credit my new card with the points as i dont even have my old card anymore and dont think i have ever actually used it?

    thanks!!

I've never been approached so I don't know. I think they know the faces who are there week in week out. They were photographing no plates at the one nearme a few weeks back I heard! I do them when I have no room left,I take that as my call to get rid of it! :rotfl:
