Hi read your link, and liked it .Sat here trying not to worry about my coop cashminder, reading the posts on here most people used newly opened accounts before or after bankruptcy not one thats been opened for 7 years. Granted its hardly been touched these last 5 apart from the last week when my benefits went in . Just so worried the OR could not be bothered on the 16th (when I go BR, )and have my ten minute meeting with the OR to make sure the Coop know the OR will let me get my benefits, mind you the OR might not let me have them, Coop said they would be fine,i went through on the phone to managed accounts to check it.

Meant to be working tomorrow but broke my glasses and ran out of contact lenses , quoted £145 for glasses, i get free lenses but not entitled now cos only had new glasses sept 07, and they fell apart in asda car park and me being very short sighted then stood on the lense. so if you see an erratic taxi driver in plymouth you know i could not afford my glasses. Just a bit worried what then OR will say about spending so much.

Daft you know going through bank statements and feel guilty as we had two meals out in six months both when we were on our £50 quid caravan holiday, a bit reckless ( 2 lots for about £35 ) oh well trying to stop worrying about EVERYTHING but its so hard I am really snappy with the kids too, I won't relax until I see the OR first and second time, I am close to chickening out and going on dmp for 20 years, is this normal to feel like this ?

money does indeed make the world go round, good one, but currently I am feeling religous especially about the Or along the lines of " oh great thou art "
anthing you say mr OR. No offence in any religous way, we had that at my dads funeral, july 2004, gettin maudlin now wish dad was here to hug and support me through this, I expect he would be very sad about it.
sorry up one minute down the next, night all

  • Hi Tracy,
yes, its totally normal to feel like chickening out. I could have quite easily chickened out right up to the second i walked into court.

From what i've seen in your posts, you've done nothing wrong so please try not to stress. Two meals out in 6 months is hardly high living:D

I think your Dad would be proud as punch of you. What your doing takes great strength of charecter, and through it all you've managed to hold down a very full time job and a family. That takes an awful lot of doing.

    Good luck x
The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter :(

    Hey Tracy.

Firstly your `up & down thoughts` are perfectly normal...I bet everyone reading this will agree right now!!

The indecision of it all is the worst bit!!!!

I still don`t know which option to take at mo as OH as already gone BR but leaves me in the sh*t.... so do I do DMP (15yrs) or go BR & have done with it (means I need to find new job though)!!

As regards your Dad...he is always there in your thoughts & will have supported you whatever direction you take.

    Take care, Angelxx

Also Tracy......I worry about what you get up to at 5.51am!!!!! I get this mental pic of you singing D.I.V.O.R.C.E (Tammy Wynette) in your cab ...waking up the neighbourhood!!! :rotfl:

If it makes you feel any better tracy. I used to sing "the day thou gavest lord has ended" and "abide with me" to myself as they were played at my mum's funeral. I later progressed to "climb every mountain" and "when you walk through a storm".

Now i not longer sing to myself i smile to myself.:D

I know it's easier said than done but try not to get to uptight.Although like you i never wanted to go bc but due to being ill advised i was in a corner and had no option. Now i am really pleased i did. Gone is all the worry that debts bring and in it's place is a person who is more confident, happy and wise.
