Rather odd - just checked bt24 as I got a £5 offer through on email and found I had £20 in there. Checked the transactions and it was a bet24 credit - last week I did an offer for a £5 free bet with them and lost it at the bookies on the eurovision - and this was after that.

Thought I would try to withdraw it and it seems to have approved it! Might still reverse in which case I will WR it but I don't understand why they have given it to me. Not that I am complaining!

Just checked again - my qualifier was on the Champions League - correct score - I wonder if they had a refund on losing correct score bets? If so - yay! am up £20! :T:T:T

    Hi Mizmir

This all sounds *so* good - I'm quite jealous now! And I wish I understood how to make money from all the reload offers that get thrown at us, I just haven't been paying attention to them. Now that I'm feeling better, I'd like to have a push, but I've only got another week before I go on holiday... hi ho. I'm still glad to be more energetic tho!

Have a good day - I'm sure I'll see you on here during breaks in that decluttering!

Hi Karma - I don't really know about reload either - I just do the "please come back we haven't seen you for so long" free bet offers! Am starting to enjoy the MB again - got really tired of it last year which is why it fizzled out but is ticking away nicely now. Had forgotten there are still so many bookies I can do.

Very nice chap just picked up the awning so that cash will save me going to the bank all week. But just had a bill for my car repair - £145 :( - still could have been worse. And have had to get breakdown cover as both cars have had failures recently and we have long journeys coming up. But did through quidco so should get cash back at least.

However everything still within budget I think. One job for today is to go through the spreadsheet carefully and make sure nothing is out of order. But first things first - need to put together a weekend "to do" list.

    Be back soon..

Looks a lot but quite a few are 5 minute things - just need to flag them or I'll forget!
  • It does look a lot, but is a similar one to mine...as in housework and garden and fence fixing. We did our back fence, a couple of weeks ago, and am going to make a start on the front. I have priced up the wood, as a fixer up. Our front garden is so large it would cost about £300 for new fence panels, as opposed to £12 for wood..no brainer really and will hope fully last another few years after painting..gulp.

Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:

yes fencing .. tell me about it! We have a field behind our house and I have a constant battle with our fence as our lurcher can jump 6 ft from a standing start!
It's a combination of wire, wood and screening and she keeps making gaps and getting through. So I keep filling the gaps! Can't afford to have it done properly just yet so will have to just keep on top of it. At least she just races around the field when she does get out! (Touch wood!)

Well I have done most of the online and computer jobs so I can't avoid the housework much longer!

Managed to get through to BC and transferred my last two high interest balances onto that - 6.5% LOB with no fee! :T Between that and OH's payrise my new DFD is August 09 but if I keep up the £20 a day challenge it comes forward to April. Still got that in my sights!

Budget is a bit tighter. Most is on track but there have been a few unexpected payments this month - car, breakdown cover - and I have had to pay for my 6 months supply of contacts. So will have to keep an eye on things carefully. Should be fine as we have extra money and expenses coming back with luck.

Re. awning - was really pleased with that - but am earning my money - just spent the last hour washing the damn thing as it was covered in grime! But it is now shiny clean so shouldn't be any problems with it. Should be collected tomorrow.

Well done on getting the awning sorted and away from you - more money :T:T:T:T
