Love coming back on here and finding everyone has been in chatting! :D
Welcome benben - great to see you here - please do come and chat regularly!

Well - OH is fed and back working on her marking poor love, dogs are still snoozing contentedly, dishwasher is filled and run, kitchen cupboards have been "audited" (how come we have 4 tins of chickpeas, 7 tins of tuna, about 15 packets of rice and very little else ?:confused: :rotfl:), meal plan for next week put together (mostly from weightwatchers - an added bonus!), and shopping list prepared. Just need to go on line and do it - presume I can use my club card vouchers on line?

    Has been a good day!

Final post before bed - tired but has been a good day. Had a slightly frustrating Tesco shop as it decided to throw away the contents of my basket just as I was about to checkout  but it was quicker second time round  and I managed to use a £5 voucher from here and £11 of club card vouchers bringing my total shop (including some extras on BOGOF) to about £25 including delivery (don't have the final figure of course as they haven't knocked off the BOGOFs but it is close to that). That covers the week through to at least next Monday and some extra I suspect. :j

So for the first time so far I have completed everything on my list - yay!

oops should have gone to bed an hour ago but OH is still up working and I thought I would play with snowballs.....

Just put in the expenses and extra money I know is coming in soon + the extra £20 a day challenge money and my DFD comes forward to March 09!! That would be in time to reduce my contract in April.

Added incentive to pull out al the stops for that. Ebay challenge? Did someone mention an ebay challenge....??! I need to make an extra £600 a month somehow!:D

Do you realise that if you sell your tesco vouchers on ebay, you get about double their face value?

Might be worth amending your shop so you withdraw your vouchers, and stick them on ebay instead!

 But they say they are not transferable? Why would anyone want them? Or are tesco fibbing about that? Thanks for the tip - will see if I can change it (maybe too late - order was for this morning!)

What you do is put the value of the vouchers on ebay - say £11 vouchers worth £44 in clubcard deals.

Someone then "buys" them on ebay from you for say £22. They then tell you what "deal voucher" they want, you get the deal voucher, and send that to the buyer.

I have done it a couple of times without any problem, I think Sea78 put me onto it!

Now I save my vouchers because I am going to try and save for a holiday with them!

Ok - was up late but here is today's list. Let's see how we do. Emphasis today on decluttering and the ebay challenge - and keeping on top of things!
    • [STRIKE]Put pot roast in slow cooker (good food, using up stuff we have!)[/STRIKE]
    • Go through our garage for ebay-able stuff (and to make room for the stuff still in my car from the old garage!)
    • Trip to tip with junk (if open)
    • Check EB to try to finish the WR (£375 to go!)
    • Mow/strim lawns
    • Work review - still outstanding from last week
    • Go through funding requirements and make notes for starting application tomorrow (catching up on time lost last week with migraine)
    • 27 fling "ebay" boogie - variation on Flylady's boogie - find and list 27 things for ebay!
Off to a start with the pot roast in the slow cooker - best invention in the world!
