Virgin do a reconditioned Motorola V220 for £39.99 including £5 air time or if you buy a brand new one it will cost £69.99 but £30 of that will be air time so the phone and sim will have only cost you £39.99. Virgin Mobile have excellent customer service and you have the choice of either topping up or paying by direct debit and if you pay by the latter it is cheaper than the other networks if you want to use your mobile whilst abroad.

I got my daughter the V220 (reconditioned from Virgin). If you're an existing customer you get an extra £10 off £29.99 in total. Even new they're only £10 more.

If you're an existing customer you can select to buy the phone without a sim for £10 less but if you need a sim as well then it will still cost £39.99 so works out at £5 more as you get £5 air time on the sim.

£62.99 here including £25 airtime. £62.99-£25=£37.99
