About 8 weeks ago I phoned B&B to ask if i could transfer my B&B eISA Issue 1 to B&B eISA Issue 3 so i could get an extra .25%. They said yes but i would have to fill in an ISA transfer form as if I was transferring an iSA from another provider. I did this and sent the form to them. After 4 weeks nothing happened so I phoned B&B and yes they had recieved my form but not funished yet. Just a couple of days ago I phoned B&B again and they said still not done but "it has reached the final stage of processing" and they would ask a manager to speed things up for me:mad::mad::mad::mad: Still nothing. As it is all internal to B&B you would have thought it was a two minute job :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Sounds like B&B are making a meal of it, I did a similar thing back in February transferring between A&L ISA accounts to get the latest issues better rate. They did it instantly over the phone - to be honest I was surprised there were no forms to fill in but wasn't going to argue.0

b+b are a complete bunch of useless t****rs - next time you phone they will tell you you need to open an e-isa 3 account online before they can activate the transfer then when you do that they will claim not to have the transfer form they originally asked for, tell you it will be done in a few days, ask you to set up a direct debit to new account despite it being for an internal isa transfer, ignore your transfer request for another few months - been trying to move from e-isa 1 to 3 since beginning of march and all previous have happened to me - have now given up and in process of moving my isa to abbey direct isa (out of the frying pan into the fire ???) - anyone who leaves their money with this bunch of clowns is mad0

My transfer from a B&B branch based ISA to a B&B e-ISA took 3.5 months from start to finish! And the only information I really got for the most of the time on its progress was in response to my calls and emails
So you have my sympathies. It's a headache you don't need to have your money in limbo for months.0 -
The replies to this thread about B&B are frightening.
I opened this years ISA with Lloyds TSB and requested transfer in from my B&B eISA this was on 10th April, I regularly check my B&B account and it`s still open. I`ll give them a few more days then it`s war. The whole ISA transfer system is crap when we are now in the age of electronic money transfer. To have to request by mail then to be sent a cheque to your new provider is bizarre.
Here`s hopeing0
