No, as vikingaero just correctly pointed out, claims for glass alone do not affect your NCD with 99.9% of insurers.

You do have to declare the claim when you request a quote. At the moment it doesn't seem to affect premiums but who knows so you also had an other claim...

Autoglass - £507

Auto Windscreens - £255

If I had used Autoglass I would only have needed to pay the £75 excess and they would have dealt with my insurers. With Auto Windscreens I had to pay the whole £255 because my insurers only allow them to do work to the value of £125. Barking or what.

I used Auto Windscreens, paid on the Tesco card so will get clubcard points. Now need to claim £180 from the insurer and £75 from the school. Maybe a bunch of flowers from the school would be in order.

The lad from Auto Windscreens was excellent. Polite and efficient. Highly recommended.
