I've had a Hoover washer / dryer for 14 years. It's been fixed 3 or 4 times but nothing too expensive, have a 'pet' repair man who used to work for Hoover.
That's just for info really, the point I want to make is - when I bought this I just did not have room for 2 machines but wanted the choice of using a dryer now and then. If the poster is in this position and also has a budget to stick to then separates, Miele or Bosch are just not an option.

I hope Badboybuddy finds what he's looking for!

    The LG's take 7kg & 8kg wash loads and corresponding 3.5kg & 4kg drying loads. Quite respectable.
  • I recently bought an LG washer, which was about £400 from Currys and is really good. It has "direct drive" which I am not really sure I understand about but it is very quiet when it spins.

I have has a Creda condenser dryer for about 8 years, it is used almost daily and is fantastic, I would definately have another. The good thing about a condenser is that it can be put almost anywhere as you do not need to vent it outside.

A brand I would NEVER buy again is Hotpiont.
