Hmmm ... well i wanted silver any other options ? they all seem to be stainless steel ...

Our cooker and fridge freezer are both brushed steel and we got them from either comet or currys, got the fridge freezer last year and the cooker proberly 4 years ago now.

Lots of the appliances are stainless steel, toaster kettle ect, these are gradually going to be replaced with proberly some of the enamel looking appliances you can get in red, cream ect.

  • I've got a slow-cooker and a deep fat fryer. They've both got streaky oil marks on the outside, which is sort of a brushed-steel effect.

What would be the best thing to clean them with? Would lemon juice work??

Try Bar Keeper's Friend from most supermarkets. Its brilliant for cutting through grease easily.

  • Either stardrops or astonish stainless steel cleaner (really cheap but effective), think I got my last bottle from the local pound shop x

Have you got any of those surface cleaner wipes? You can get them from Home Bargains and Pound shops. I use these on the steel toaster and breadbin and they come up fine :)

My stainless steel kettle and microwave get very greasy. After a lot of trial and error I use window cleaner on a Tesco Value microfibre cloth.
