Email from suspicious address

Options
I had what appears to be the exact same weekly money saving tips email as I received yesterday, sent to me today, but from an odd address:

MartinsMoneyTips@uk2.lyris.net

Does anyone know whether this is a legitimate email or an imposter trying to get a safe listing in my address book or worse?

Thanks,

Matt

  • Hi folks,

Apologies but we've had issues overnight with our mail server and in an effort to get the Tip out on time, we've had to try an alternative.

So yes, MartinsMoneyTips@uk2.lyris.net is a legitimate sending address and if you received from here then it's from us.

I got the same thing, but I also received the email from the usual address on Wednesday morning at about 4:20 am  - that server really works early! - so I'll delete the duplicate copy.
