Oh I love it, just know that it isn't for everybody. And a nightmare when things go wrong......

Company sent me a dodgy mobo, so after loads of memory swaps and combinations, weeks running memtest and other testing I had to disassemble and return the board, wait for a replacement and rebuild. Had I bought a system I could have had an advance replacement!

Nightmare - enough to put anyone off

Novatech seem to have reasonable prices and you can buy "kits" of a motherboard, RAM, CPU and fan pre-assembled, which might help.
  • Novatech were the company I was talking about. Great on a trade account (you get a person to talk to). As a personal customer they treated me like rubbish (sent me a different brand of mobo and fobbed me off when I complained, too inconvenient for me to change it, but they didn't sound like they would do anything anyway). I have vowed I will never use them at work again.
