Some queries on investing

hi MSEs

I currently looking to putting some money aside to invest in Stock and shares isa (long term for 15-20yrs). Im thinking about putting in a lumpsum of £1000 and a monthly input of £50.
I dont know alot about investing and need to find a dummies guide as i know nothing about stocks, shares investements etc.
Could anyone point me in the right direction (web guide or book) as I have looked at books on the waterstones website and dont know which will suite my need (guide for Stock & shares ISAs)

There are plenty of websites out there also, just google for stuff. Also these forums are quite good so just browse.

I have googled and looked on booksites for guides. I have found plenty but I need some review on past experiences on these books or some uk guides , even better if it relates to stock and shares ISA My local bookshop does not have alot of these books which will mean buying online and I dont know enough about investing to know if what Im looking at is what I need.

However I will search previous posts and see what previous advise were given.

This is a moneysaving site - before shelling out for books from Amazon have a look at INCADEMY and go through the different modules there.

As it's free - you won't find anything cheaper!
