Are T-mobile mad?
Been a T-mobile customer for 2 years and have been fairly happy with them to date. Been looking at getting a better deal and have seen one pointed out on here. But the offer is with T-mobile through the Link, spoke to T-mobile and they said that they couldn't match the offer or even get anywhere near it. So i said that i would cancel my contact and start again but they replied that i wouldn't be able to port my number from T-mobile to T-mobile. So i have the option of either changing network and keep number which is a big advantage to me OR staying with T-mobile and changing number. Are T-mobile mad, since the conversation with them i'm looking at different networks. Do they not want to keep there customers? Any ideas?

Dont get mad with them get even!! port your number to a pay as you go SIM with any network other than t-mobile and then get a new contract from wherever from T-mobile, if you insist on being their customer, and then port it to the new contract.0

That's always been like that.
You can't port back to the same network immediately, i.e. Vodafone to Vodafone, gotta Vodafone to i.e. Orange then to Vodafone.0 -
like mm66 said - if you insist on being a t-mobile customer
of course we don't know what requirements you have but from looking around recently it looks like t-mobile are beatable in most scenarios - might be a blessing in disguise
