Wallis/Dorothy Perkins Credit Card - BE CAREFUL

Hi Folks

There has been hassling calls every day and the pattern detected is people who have Dorothy Perkins/Wallis cards have had their personal details sold to an insurance agent.

Add evans to that list - so basically dont ever give your details to Arcadia it would seem.

2+ silent calls a DAY on my mobile is getting intollerable.

i have a topshop one and keep gettin random 'private' number calls at various times of the day, one even at 6.30am...

to this day i have no idea who it is...

Is that even legal?

From reading elsewhere it appears they want you to call back and I guess this gets them money somehow.

I have had charges appear on my card that I know nothing about, I am trying to cancel them now but getting no responce.

I Have just rang Ace insurance as they are putting charges on my Dorothy Perkins card, they have no record of me or my account. They put me through to GE who apparently do all the sales calls for Ace.

Oooops, I just recently signed up for a Wallis Credit Card....but am always warey of these things...so I looked into it, and thought it seemed alright. Should I be worried now cos they have my details? I haven't had any nuisance calls, but am not about to want them to start! I'm not sure what to do to chang it? If I cancelled my card would that help?
