We are staying up at the northern part of the island. It comes highly recommended and as my sis-in-law is a travel agent we took her advice, oh and the discounts! (25th wedding anniversary). My wife has said that just because it is all inclusive I don`t have to drink myself stupid.
In fact,Mr.B, I wanna be the guy that makes all inclusive holidays not viable for the operators in future.Lol!0 -

those who have gone to spain are in more !!!!!! than us, houseprices have collapsed over there, the pound has also fallen, thus a further dent in their money if they decided to come back to the UK and best of all some people have found out there houses have been illegally built and are being demolished thus losing everything! luvvly jubbly0 -

If oyu're buying a 'home' then no need to worry about purchasing at exactly the right time. Just make sure that you can fulfil the following criteria:
* Ensure you won't be going into negative equity (have a suitable deposit and don't buy into a sharply falling market)
* If interest rates are low, making a large loan seem 'affordable', don't assume they will always be so
* Make sure you can afford the repayments with a reasonable margin of safety. 3.5x salary, 2.5x joint salary is a good guideline.
Buy low sell high was what my Dad always taught me.
If you'd prefer to buy your home now, go ahead. One of the houses on my "possible" list on Rightmove dropped £135,000 in asking price today (not that I can afford it even now). I'd be pretty cheesed off if I'd bought 6 months ago - but you go right ahead. I'll use the extra capital and interest on that capital saved in buying in 1 year to 3 years time when prices have fallen for retirement / kids / holidays.0
