It's about treading on a soapbox to get above a crowd so you can be heard.
Soapbox forums cause more trouble than they are worth IMHO, heated debate soon spills out into other forums and fsck's up all sorts of other stuff.
The rule of "place nice or hop off" leads to a better community spirit, and polite posting by all, if enforced.0 -

Cause they actually stood on soap boxes (not the little packets but the big wooden boxes soap used to come in )so the crowds could see them ........................so getting your point across /spouting off/preaching /rallying folk is called getting on your soap-box in the same way . ;D ;D
i thought it was as simple answer, but wasnt suresmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....:cool:
