I have a feeling that my old and trusty SE K750i might be on the way out. Yesterday the joy stick acted oddly. Instead of letting me scroll down, I had to go up and find the section required that way. It happened several times in several locations. If my memory serves me correctly, I think the joystick was an issue for some people. But for me, the phone has been a favourite for a long time. Even when I upgraded to a motorola razr and then SE K850i, I still went back to this model.
So, given that I might be seeing the demise of this phone, could anyone advise me where I could get a new K750i please.

I agree with you - that's why I grabbed four of them when I had the chance on free cashback deals. Unfortunately for you, I'm hanging onto mine!
For a long time some of the older S/E models like the w700 pop up on special offers. Although I haven't seen any k750i's around for months, there's always a chance - and I'll be first in the queue for more if the deals are right!
As an alternative, I've also grabbed 5 (so far!) k800i's and a w810i. The first has a joystick (which I love though many don't!) but both really are superb phones and you do still see those on special offers. You could get a k800i for around £70 and get it unlocked I presume (mine all come unlocked so I don;t have that problem!).0 -
The joystick is quite easy to fix - probably a fiver in the mkt.
No SE K750i's around now .
I have a red K750i (never been used) that I'm about to sell elsewhere, I'll give you details if you're interested.
Think your best bet is a quick trip to the mkt and get it repaired.0
