I've always used https://www.easily.co.uk but I think others are cheaper. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
To be honest mate, avoid Godaddy, I've heard of a lot of horror stories - and I'm with 123-reg myself and frankly, it's rubbish.
One and one are cheap and good, but bad customer support - if you know what you're doing it's the one :P

I've got about 50 domains hosted via godaddy (yes godaddy try and sell you add on but just hit the no thanks option at the bottom of the page) and some with namecheap. Google discount codes for both - $7.15 with godaddy discount code and $8.12 with namecheap code. They're both very good and cheap for anything but .co.uk domains. Google codes If it's a .co.uk one you are after use a UK based registrar as they'll be cheaper. No major suggestions here I'm afraid.0

lol ok thanks
so do u think namecheap.com are good and reliable?
i dont mind spending a few extra quid, if its going to save me a headache in the long run.......
think il be registering .com at first but would probably end up with .co.uk too, as i might be registering a few domains at the sametime or over a short period of time0 -
I use moniker.com they are the most secure one ie won't lose your domain. Not sure what other services they offer though as I only use them to reg and park. for co.uk I use 1and1 basically because of the price.0

Yes namecheap are fine. Although I'm not sure unless the host goes bust it makes too much difference who you choose to register your domain. Price and any add ons are usually the main difference. Anyway you can switch hosts at anytime if you are unhappy.0 -
thanks guys
think il decide between monikker.com, namecheap.com, www.easily.co.uk and 1and1.com
thanks for the advice, much appreciated.0 -

I've used Easily for many many years too - extremely quick to order and a nice simple control panel. There are suppliers who are a bit cheaper though.0 -
I've used 123-reg for a few years for domains (not hosting), but their reliability and service/support have really gone downhill since they were bought up by Pipex.
I'm moving all my domains over to GoDaddy.com. Never had any problem with them - and I've found them totally responsive when answering questions - plus there are a load of special offer discount codes for GoDaddy like these. Saves a bunch.0 -
Depending what you want it for, but you can get a free domain through Microsoft if you sign up to their office live thing (and you can get £5 cashback through Quidco). However it will cost you up to £8 per year to renew.

I use godaddy myself for a couple of domains, and haven't had any issues with them.0
