I rang at 8:01am this morning, the lady I spoke to could not have been more helpful she recalled my payment and then made the correct payment for me, no umming or ahhing - just said it was obviously an error given previous activity on my account. So I am now £901 better off than I was last night. Won't be making that mistake again - going to set up a d/d!!
Thanks again for all the help and advice last night - glad it has been sorted :j :j
If you "don't do debt" then a DD to pay off the balance in full makes sense.
Otherwise, a DD to pay off the minimum would work, as you can always make an extra payment via online banking too. You could do this for the full amount (less the amount collected by DD) or for any amount you want to pay.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
