Pensions article - pension mentioned not available

Options
Just to let you know that in the pensions article, the example uses a Norwich Union stakeholder pension. This pension was withdrawn from new business in February and replaced with a new stakeholder pension with a different charging structure. So, the example is no longer quoting accurate figures.

Also, when it comes to updating the article, Martin may wish to include personal pensions and not just stakeholder. For those that have more than 20 years to go until retirement, the personal pension option may be cheaper. Indeed, I did an illustration on a thread not too long back that showed an IFA taking 75% of commission entitlement could on a personal pension matching the terms in the article could come in cheaper than using Martin's recommended discount brokers. So a fee based IFA or IFA offering a discount could beat the "cheapest" options mentioned by Martin.
