How long to wait for e2save cashback/rejection?

My first post so hope this is ok.

I was wondering how long it normally takes to get cashback from e2save? I sent my claim on the 7th of april and have yet to hear anything. I'm pretty confident I have followed mt t&c, sent in the right bill at the right time and (eventually) the right address, but can't help thinking something will go wrong! especially after reading all the other posts!

if the claim is refused, am i notified that it has been refused and why or do I have to get that information out of them?

should i try and contact them and ask? was trying to not have to spend any longer on the phone to them...

thanks for help in advance

    I've been Money Tipped!
I've received all mine within 3 weeks, but allow 28 days.

    I've sent you a pm.

Exactly! Another groundrule. It also now depends on the t&c which dictate WHERE you send it. If it went to Dunstable under a now very old and almost defunct set of t&c you'll find it at best takes longer than elsewhere and at worst that they never got it (according to them!). If you can prove they did they will pay. Otherwise kiss that one goodbye and learn the lesson - follow the groundrules or stay away! If it went to one fo the Crewe addresses AND they got it the cheque should be with you by now. EVEN according to the t&c which (IF you embark on any cashback deal) you really SHOULD be very clear about!
  • i used recorded delivery which delivered from Loughborough delivery office (i sent to Crewe as per my t&c and recommended on these boards) and has proof of delivery 2 days after i sent it on the 7th of april. i believe i have fulfilled the t&c but i never feel sure as most the information i have is contradictory.

do you think then that i should have heard something about it by now? do they send anything if the claim has been refused?

I do. The key thing is whether you actually sent it when you should have done. If so you are covered. You may have to email them (always better than a phone call). Just make quite sure you DID send it according to the legal t&c (as well as possibly the ones they actually use) and that the bill wasn't more than 28 days old when they received it. If they don't respond you can then do the usual things recommended and explained on these threads many times (LBA etc.).
  • I am almost 100% sure i sent it in at the right time...whether that be 120 days from connection or 4 months. I have fulfilled their current t&c and the bill received was less than 28 days old.

I have to admit though that, when i started my contract, i did not take the due care to make sure i had a copy of my legal t&c. having now read the many many threads on e2save and how they work (many from your good self) i now understand fully how short sighted i was and how you cannot take cashback offers lightly.

so although i have sent my bill in when i think i should have to the address i think i should have and when i think i should have, i do not have a copy of the legal t&c from when i signed up, to back up any LBA i may persue. i signed up on the 28th of november to a price match deal for 10 months free.

is there anyway to access the t&c from november time? or anywhere they can be found now? i have certainly learnt my lesson of taking an easy ride with these sorts of things, and know how much it must irritate you to hear this sort of thing again but would appreciate any further help you could give me (though i also know you do not like to give too much help, so that you do not lose the free deals fools like myself finance! so understand if you just chastise me)

I can send you a copy. Send me a pm where.
  • sure enough it was rejected...but the woman told me that 2 weeks ago they changed the t&c (again!) and now if u miss a claim they still honour the subsequent claims. whether this is true is another matter...but will find out soon enough

    sure enough it was rejected...

    On what grounds?
  • foolishly sending in a photocopy of my bill for a pricematch deal which is not allowed
