I have a Belkin F5D7230uk4 router. It requires a password to connect so i beleive thats it secure. However, i just like to know if there is a way i can find out who is feeding of my router, or if any pc/laptop is using it.
Can it be done?

go into the router config page and see attached devices0

What encryption are you using? (It should be WPA at least, WEP is insufficient)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I might be wrong but don't you need to connect a wireless device (like a laptop) in a wired mode first in order to establish an initial connection.
I am not very technical but I have done that today with my mums laptop and it would only let me do it in this way with the network key aswell.Proud to be me, proud to be who I am!!0 -

Ok I wasn't sure thats just how I had to do it in my case"I'm not from around here, I have my own customs"
For confirmation: No, I'm not a 40 year old woman, I'm a 26 year old bloke!0 -
According to According to this site that particular router has a feature called Wireless Access Control which means you can define, using the unique MAC address of your laptop and/or other wifi devices, which devices can use the wifi on the router to access the net connection. Any device not on this list will be forbidden from using it. Much more secure than WEP or WPA
You are joking? MAC spoofing is very easy and filtering offers little more than "better than nothing" protection. And even then it is not a replacement to encryption, implying you don't need encryption means that ALL the data you send and receive can be looked at by anyone in cleartext. This is actually one of the most irresponsible things I've seen posted in terms of wireless security."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
