soappie according to the forecast, wait until the afternoon as the rains going to naff off for down south, but of course it'll rain here...

Trouble is Lil-me, even the Met Office recognise that where I live we have our own little micro-climate. (and I have this first hand from the forecasters because I worked for them for a while in Exeter). Most of the readings they use for their computations are taken from the airport about 4 miles away from me but which is significantly far enough from the coast and out of town for the climate to be totally different.

I shall just have to take pot-luck tomorrow.

And, just to spite Pigpen who's given us the day off, I might just tackle the bathroom!

    Happy May Day everyone.

Going to to the dailies this morning. Planning to meet mum and dad later on.

I made some hob nobs last night. I left half the mixture plain. I added dried fruit to a quarter of the mixture and chocolate butterstotch pieces to the other quarter. Of course I had to taste one of each to check they were ok. They were lovely straight out of the oven, but I will have to 'test' them again now they have cooled down  .

Right cuppa char then clean the bathroom me thinks.

    Morning ladies,

Really going to try my hardest to get back on track with the cleaning! I haven't been around much the past 6 months due to dh being home and working full time. Only 4 days to work this week then I'm back to part time *phew* got a few things to do today but will try and have a bit of a day off today. Need to get my washing & ironing done at least. Planning to take the kids to a free thing at the local park but depends if weather holds out or not!

    My small list for today
    • washing
    • ironing-at least all the school things ready for the week
    • List another 10 things on ebay
    • package up sold ebay items ready to post tommorow
Oh and I forgot to add I ordered myself a bread maker yesterday I thought that now I'm back to part time I can get into the swing of making my own and using the slow cooker again more.

It is a beautiful day here, not a cloud in the sky, so we are going to the zoo.
Hugs to Nicki, not sure if you will read this, but good luck anyway. Hope you sort your issues out and achieve all that you have set out to do. Please pop back and let us know if you can.

    Morning all

Actually slept in for once. Just had my first cuppa and am about to bathe then do something with the day - it's raining here at the mo but hopefully it will clear later as Lil-me suggested it might.

I have so been there. I remember one time when they had really pushed me. I said I was taking everything out of their room except their beds. I started this dramatic display of hauling everything out of their room and into mine and the little blighters actually helped me do it. "here you are mummy, me do it mummy" Of course I fell soft on them pretty quickly.

    Morning all

The kids had a great time last night. They went out with a box of goodies each and loved reading their new comics. A 'rang' me a couple of times and popped back in to get a teddy for each of them but when I checked them at 9.45 they were fast asleep :)

Think even I might be able to complete today's list! Brekkie had, now got to get A * W dressed and then we are off on a bell ringing car tour of East Yorkshire so I hope the weather brightens up.

Nicki take care and come back soon, we are all thinking about you both **hugs**

Hope you all have a good day whatever you decide to do.
