Chicken thighs are often tastier in dishes, than breasts, so whatever you do, should turn out lovely.0

I'm having tandoori chicken thighs tonight. Just slashed and marinaded in tandoori paste, yoghurt and grated onion and then roast on a grid. And what's even better my 9 year old son is doing it!C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z Able Archer0

hello all,
bought 5 very plump chicken thighs (aldi)for £1.49 today-just couldn't not do!
have split them and put into freezer so no rush but any interesting recipes?the boy can't eat "a lump" of meat(as in just roasted) but any sort of chilli con carne-but chicken,or paste bake type thing??
have rice,pasta,spices,garlic,beans,chickpeas,tomatoes,spuds in cupboard too.
thanks all0 -
Hi gem,
If you want to use the meat from them in a pasta bake you can remove the bones and just use the meat in the same way as you would chicken breast. (Don't forget to save the bones to make soup) This thread has some recipes that might help:
Chicken Pasta Bake
If you prefer to cook them beforehand and then strip the meat this thread has lots of ideas:
Rubber Chicken
And finally, this thread has recipes for using them as they are:
Chicken Thighs
I'll add your thread to the last link later to keep the recipes together.

I have some chicken thighs to use up.
I was planning on using a jar of 'chicken tonight' ... very adventurous not ........ once cooked, is it possible to freeze it, to use another day?A creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
Hi I have some chicken thighs which I thought I could use for Fridays dinner am at work all day so would ideally like to do something in the slow cooker, was going to brown them off first as they have the skin on and then hopefully do some kind of casserole. Anyone have any good recipes please.0
