£50 Quidco cashback for e2save not working for £1.99/month deals

Quidco are currently offering £50 for an o2 contract via e2save: http://www.quidco.com/e2save/

e2ave have a number of o2 offers working out at £1.99/month (£23.88 for the year) after their cashback. So with the Quidco cashback on top one can make £26.12 profit.

Now if one goes directly to e2save, one can purchase any of these deals without a problem. However, if one goes via Quidco and clicks on the link to purchase the phone the page is redirected to another set of offers, thus making it impossible to purchase these deals. All other deals that I tested (i.e. other than the £1.99 deals) seem to work fine.

I phoned e2save and they said others had complained but they can't do anything until Tuesday when the IT team return.

It seems that e2save don't want us take take advantage of these deals!

Anyone else had this problem or knows how to get around the issue? I am going to raise the issue with Quidco as well. At least the £50 offer lasts till Friday 9th May (noted on front page of Quidco, savy tips section) but who knows what offers e2save will be offering from Tuesday if the IT team fix the issue?

I can see all the deals but what I can't do is purchase any. When I click on the 'Best Offer'/Buy online now link it redirects me to a bunch of offers similar to the front page. This happens both in IE 7 and Firefox 3 beta 5. It's consistent and happens every time if if go via Quidco, but works if I go direct. Of course I clear cache and cookies every time to test.

It's a little suspicious that it happens only on the deals where one can make most profit (though I haven't tested every offer!).

I have also been looking to get this offer but I have been reading recent articles about cashback problems with e2Save.

I have just finished my 12 month contract with OneStopPhoneShop and had no problems whatsoever with cashback.

Any feedback appreciated about their cashback.

    Thanks

I'm also thinking of taking out a deal with e2save as I have a one ready to cancel shortly. They are probably as safe as you can expect at the moment as long as you can follow the T&C's. They would have to go bust to lose out, that's the main gamble.

The new sets of t&c are more confusing and contradictory. As far as I can tell from other threads (I have yet to complete a purchase myself and am waiting till I can sort out the above mentioned issue) you get a short summary of the offer before purchase, after purchase you get a completely contradictory longer set of t&c. Even the short summary contains an example that might lead to e2save refusing your claim due to claiming too early. This is related to how you define 6 months, the old e2save method and the new e2save/osps method. I suspect that people are going to have a lot more problems on this one, I for one am prepared to sue if necessary. I suspect the judge is going to have a good laugh at the way e2save/osps work and wont have too much of a problem throwing their case out if it gets to court.

Has anyone else come across my problem I described in the first post?

The more different and contradictory T&C's suit me. It would make them look stupid or misleading if having to go down the Moneyclaim route.
Just make sure you copy everything and keep as backup in case it's needed.

I agree - it would allow you to claim everything in one go via MCOL.

Use mobiles2yourdoor. Far better service and no dodgy claim rules.

Your probably right but the problem is you can't port to Vodafone with Mobiles2yourdoor and that's what I would want to do. I mentioned this in the Mobiles2yourdoor thread here.

The thread is going a little off topic so I would like to draw it back to my original issue. Is anyone else experiencing the problem and do they know how to get around it? Maybe someone else can test it out and let us know?
