Remove a toad from the kitchen?

Any suggestions on how to remove a toad from the kitchen without actually having to pick it up?

It keeps evading all the boxes I have laid out in the hope it will jump into one of them :rotfl:

Tie a fly to a piece of string and entice it out
like a cat with a ball of wool.
  • and why is it that when you switch on a light and the bulb blows, throwing the fuse that when you get the lights back on another one has blown?

Now sitting in darkness and the toad could be anywhere so I think its a job for the morning and daylight

You could try kissing the toad, you never know your luck a handsome prince may appear. Or was that a frog?

I did it the other way around and kissed the prince. Since then he has turned into a toad. Suggestions on a postcode for how to get my toad INTO the kitchen.

    Only joking love him really.

Had you written JUMP IN HERE! on the outside?! :rotfl:

Did you sort it out? I love toads and frogs, though they can be hard to catch.

Wondered if you were talking about your husband when I read the title of this :D

    Did you catch it? :D
Just run, run and keep on running!

  • Sadly it read the Jump In Here I had written in the dust in the sitting room and is now tucked in a corner behind the television unit :o

BUT I am at work and daughter is on half day from school so she is the one it might jump out on and I haven't told her :rotfl:

Once caught, savvy wants it in the hope it will eat the slugs she has in her kitchen, so watch out for the next question "how to post a toad to savvy".

Kiss the toad, don't think that is an option today, made a few mistakes like that in my time icon11.gif

Kicking doesn't involve picking it up:D ?!!! I'd kick it and run!!!! Can't stand the things! In our first house we had a pond..and frogs! Made my husband throw them over next doors fence while she was at work. :o Sounds awful but they kept jumping on my foot while I was trying to mow the lawn - I ended up in tears hiding in the garage! Good Luck to you!!!!
