No pavement between wall and road.
What will happen is that they get temporary permission, then someone will do a health and safety assessment and the school boundary will be altered so that the school wall and gates enclose the portocabin.
In 3 years time, the school will apply to retain the temporary building for another few years. This will be harder to turn down as this will leave insuffcient room to teach the now enlarged school numbers etc and the portocabin has already been in existence and is now within the school boundary.
Then the school PTA or the LEA will start to make noises about the inadequacy of teaching in buildings that were only designed as a temporary measure and fund raising / grants will start. Eventually the portocabins will be replaced by permnenant buildings.
Then someone will talk about the days long gone when the school was a nice little village school and now it has grown in size and covers such a larger area.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
