A word of caution.
During the Tesco R&R days (that was when you bought an item, were overcharged and got your money back and kept the item) there was a Tesco misprice discussion thread.
It got heated - mainly due to trolls who disapproved of the concept of pre-medidated R&R.
And the Mods closed it a few times, before banning it.
I would imagine if you stay on topic the Mods will be happy.

well, some people moan all the time... at anything. This is in the wrong place anyway, surprised it hasn't been moved already. :rotfl:Hating Hastings Direct!0 -
I've only had one experience of this I got DTD (but the manager couldn't multiply and gave me 4x the difference) and I got to keep the product.:j:j:jPreemie hats 9 :j0

Hi,
This is the first time i've ever looked at the Tesco misprices thread so haven't questioned it before in any context.
Thanks for your reply nuttyrockeress (cool name!) but what I'm really asking is how do you actually go about doing it, in a practical sense.
So, someone posts misprice details in the thread and then you go to your local Tescos to follow up. Do you actually buy the item and then go to Customer services with your receipt, or do you point out the mistake at the till to the cashier etc etc.
Also do you just get the difference or do you get the whole amount back.
The thread looks very useful but doesn't seem to explain it for a newbie that isn't really aware of the whole mispriced concept etc.
It looks to me like a bit of maney can be made doing this and reducing the cost of grocery shopping but i just want to be sure I understand it fully before i go ahead.
Could be wrong anyway you're not likely to be able to go and make some money back these days, maybe in the old RandR days but how much do you think you might make from the odd double the difference which might only be a few pence if that anyway:rolleyes:
