Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Have a look at the thread below. The laptops on Littlewoods seem to be £100-£150 over priced.

Thanks for the link Boatman but i don't have any spare cash at the minute so littlewoods is my only option at the minute. I would be of course going through quidco and using a discount code so that should knock a bit of the price.;) I just wondered which would be good value for money as i don't have a clue about MB and GB.

Whats wrong with the laptop you have then, Why borrow the money when you dont have, on an overpriced m/c that might fail before you have paid it off?
Old laptops can be fixed with a bit if care, quite cheaply

The second link is the one I've got, which is the Tosihba. however I only paid £349 for mine and littlewoods have it for £499.

All those laptops are way overpriced. Does it have to be Littlewoods? Can't you buy it from somewhere else by card?

Sell your other laptop as spares and repairs on ebay as I don't think its worth repairing due to its age and a new screen fitted can cost quite abit.

Thanks i think the same, it is old now. I could go somewhere else but even then i wouldn't be sure of what would be good and max i could spend would be 250 pounds.

Littlewoods is really very overpriced my friend. Why not try somewhere like ebuyer and if you have a credit card then use that (but make sure you pay it off in full when the time comes to avoid incurring interest). Depending on your credit card (if you have one) it may even offer an extra year's warranty on electrical items and even between 1% - 3% cashback.
