Suggestions for a November Holiday

Hello Mse'ers

I'm hoping to tap into your collective expertise for a holiday I'm taking my mum on in November.

At the moment, the best I can see is:

*2 adults
*London airports (LHR or LGW - although LGW preferred)
*5 November the ideal departure date but +/- 2 or so days, for 7 nights.
*I'm thinking of a budget of about £300-350 but not sure about the board. I think either a good 3* self-catering or h/b or if there is a miracle - all-inclusive!:D:D

It should be warm/fairly relaible weather, so I was thinking of spain & the costa del sol, around Malaga - easy access to day trips to Jerez, Grenada & Gibralter etc - although if I'd be grateful can come up with anyone any other suggestions.

*Not too fussed about resorts etc as I'm more of a city breaker.

Had a very quick look for you and just picked on Malaga, flying easyjet out of Gatwick on the 3rd two flights a day comes to £169.96 for the two of you. Popped onto hotelscomparision and travelsupermarket and a four star hotel is going to cost on a B+B basis between 220 and 300 for the two of you. No doubt the hotel cost can be tweeked a lot and the airline can be changed, just my first inputs.

Just done a quick search & theres a 3* AI in Majorca for £259pp flying from Gatwick on there among others.

Well worth a look.

I usually find the best deals on there & then go straight to the tour operator of the holiday I fancy & price it up on there - normally comes up slightly cheaper.

if you go to Travelcare (co-op) and book with them If you say you have a Tesco credit card they don't charge credit card commision.

(Or that was the case last year. haven't used travelcare this year.) Worth asking about.

BA have flights to Lanzarote for about 100 each from Gatwick also Tenerife both on or around your dates.
