    The originator needs a reasonable time to advise you of a change to the DD value / date. But that doesn't apply if you are voluntarily making the change.

    Egg CC, for instance, allows variation of the DD amount. But you need to do it at least 5 working days in advance as the DD cycle kicks off earlier than you see it.
    If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !
