I would be too. I ignored my debts for years, but no more!!!! Thinking about it i have been in debt since i was 18, wasn't very much to begin with, £200 on the credit card etc, but as i got older it soon got more and more. I can't wait until the end of the year when i finally have no debt to my name and can look to the future knowing i will never get myself in that mess again. If only i had woken up sooner and had my LBM.0

Me too Hayley.
I got made redundant at 18/19 and I told my bank and they shoved a loan to me (even though i didnt have an income!) to "help me"... i thought it was great.
And thats where it all started!
I was saying to my mum, the only debt i ever want is for a mortgage... and believe me i will be on here trying to get the mortgage down ASAP!Debt: just my mortgage0 -

As it stands now i have to find an extra £139 a month on top of my usual payments to be debt free at end of Nov, month one:- £24 mobile phone recycling +£110 ish jewellery money thats near enough. month 2-quidco payment of £140 due, then i have another £140 to come from quidco to cover another month, so that leaves 3 months that i have to find extra money for, but if i can save out of monthly spends and do some more quidco i might be able to do it.0

ok lets see 22 ish weeks till nov £800 to pay £800 divided 22 = £36.36 a week i pay £15 a week on payment so i need to pay an extra £21.36 a week!! eek not sure if i can do that??! maybe i will be the end of nov too!! lol
try 25 weeks divided £800 = £32 a week - £15 payments = £17 extra a week... uuummm i think it depends on how my car boot cashback sites etc go?? have you worked your out till the end of nov yet mm??
forgive me if ive got this wrong but havent you already got £390 quid saved to pay off your debt? or has that already been used ?coz if not thats only £410 youve got to pay divided by 22= £18.63 a week so just £3.63 a week extra.
again,sorry if ive got this wrong!0 -
Totally agree Amy. I will be joing the Mortgage Free board when I become debt free and got my own place. I will then be doing exactly the same as i do now and find good deals before i buy anything, do lots of comps, always look on Quidco before before taking out insurance, i actually find money making quite exciting!!!0
