Evening all,
Sunday evening already, the weekend goes far too quickly for my liking.
I have just got back from Manchester, had a fab weekend and only spent £9.50. My friend and I left the guys at home last night to play Playstation and babysit, while us girls went to see Sex in the City Movie, was great!!! Cinemas are sooo expensive these days, my ticket cost £8.50.
Brilliant news about selling the jewellery sets MM, thats a lot of extra money to throw at your debts this month.0 -
£8.50!!! Glad u had a good time hayley - I want to see that film, don't tell us what happens!
When I am debt free I am going to have to contribute more to the bills so Mini saving will take a while, would like to have one by the time I'm forty (4 years) hopefully if the jewellery does well I'll buy myself a company car LOL!!0 -
I was saying yesterday to my friend if i pass my driving test this month I'm going to buy a reasonably priced car, 2K max, then next year buy a nice mini, second hand of course. I can't wait. I need to get a nice car soon, as I'm sure in 3 years or so (I'm 23 now) my OH and I will want to start a family and a mini isn't a family car hehe!
The movie is fab, you will love it. I won't be spoiling it for you!0 -

Cant believe its sunday evening either... Me and the boys (my cats!) have been lounging on the sofa most of the afternoon, and now one of them has woken up and loudly decided he wants his dinner! Just like a typical male! :rotfl:
Oooo Hayley i want to see that film too, may have to go next weekend with my sister.Blimey £8.50 is very expensive!!!! I have joined something to do with cheap tickets (for Showcase cinemas) its on the freebie board, so fingers crossed that comes through and i can get us cheap tickets.

Hello all,
I paid off my first credit card this week, it's only a small one but it's £150 down - 2 more credit cards and an overdraft to go
Off on holiday for 2 weeks this month though so won't be able to do much money saving. Have listed loads of items on ebay which will finish just before I go so hopefully I'll hit my target of another £150 this month
So glad i found this forum, everyone is so helpful and it's really helped me curb my shopping habits:jBest Wins * wag for a day = £1500 selfridges vouchers * 4 VIP V Festival tickets * Flights to New York * £1000 *

Well done Gemsy, thats great news!!
Since I've been a member of this forum I always think twice before buying anything. Going shopping is no fun anymore as i never want to buy anything, I'm really happy about that though as its helping me become debt free quicker.
Have a great holiday!! Off anywhere nice??0
