Good morning everyone. Hope you're all well. ((((hugs)))) to all who need or want one. I went to town yesterday with my DD got a few new items of clothing between us and had breakfast at woolworths-real bargain compared to other places we've been to in the past. Got some stuff from La Senza-I love it there, the staff are attentive and pay attention to detail (first time I've bought anything from there but I shall definitely be back) 1st impressions are very positive. Got some gorgeous stuff and they were reduced too, so instead of spending £64 I spent £25 and the staff still wrapped it and bagged it and put little fragrance beads in the bag-well impressed.
Had a small stroke of luck recently-hence buying some long awaited stuff, didn't go mad though and I have finally got around to altering my sig for my savings, they have grown quite alot lately, when I added it all up out of my various pots and paid it in I was really pleasantly surprised!!! I now have another tin money box on the go, I put in all my loose change out of my purse (apart from the bit I keep back for car parking etc) I always keep a couple of pound coins though in case I need them. I intend to open it either just before christmas or when the need arise-whichever happens first.
Well done on your wins Jen. Well done everyone on your achievements- you're all doing really well.
Right better go and get dressed.

hi cath ((((hugs)))) for you too! Sounds like you got some bargains there! Wow your savings are looking great- sorry I can't remember are you saving to pay off debt or are you df already?
  • Morning all - Jen, well done on your cheap night out - sounds awesome! If you need a phone, then you should buy one, but just don't go out and get an overpriced contract that you don't need, look at what suits your use the best and go with that one! For me a contract is the best and I got a phone that I couldn't afford on it so it worked out fine, we all need something different. Just be careful about the spending bug though, don't let it bite!!!!

MM - you will have to look at everything today and weigh up whether you want it more than you want lunch tomorrow!

afternoonb all i was buying at the car boot. i spent £10 on a ds games and £2.00 on toys for dd plus £1.00 to get in. my sister was doing a car boot so went to support her. she took some of my dog balls to sell and she sold 7 so that was £9.50 for me £7.60 profit on the balls! yeah
got a cabbage out the garden at my mums and a reduced lettuce at the corner shop for 31p so i am having a good day. dd gave me £1 more towards the ds! all good. not sure what to do this afternoon i have toothache and i am grumpy coz it hurts!

well done on your sales Jen . I only spent £1 at car boot, bought a toy for the dog. I really need to lose weight but I just haven't got the willpower at the moment, perhaps when the debt is gone.
