Right ive deided my savings target for car is £6000, i can get a reasonable one now for that so in two years time i should be able to get more of what i want on an older model without going daft, also that should cover tax and insurance and is a nice round number lol,if i say thats starting from april 2009-april 2011 thats 250 quid a month,do-able but not easy , i will have a bit of a head start from this nov to april but i will need car insurance in may so need to save for that as well.
Blimey-i could have a MINI by my 39th birthday! not bad as a year ago i was saying to my mate that i would be happy if i could be debt free by 40!
Sorry for all the mini related waffling, its just that im feeling quite positive at the moment and want to make the most of it before i go back to my normal miserable self!0 -
right am i on target?
tomorrow the £100 will go out and the £20 weekly payment leaving the debt at £445 going to try my hardest to pay another £100 on payday
august i will probably only pay the payments £20 x 4 weeks = £80
total outstanding on 1st sept £265
5 weeks between 1st spt and 1st oct
5 weeks payment = £100
outstanding £165 divided 5 weeks= £33 i will need an extra £33 a week in sept to be debt free by 1st oct? then october i have car tax to pay so that will be my extra money gone!
i can do it aiming for 1st oct to be debt free!:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

bless her!!
I think im on target (as long as OH gets a job soon-(one in the pipeline but i dont wanna jinx it by talking about it!)
will be paying £350 this next week (should be ok as i did a days overtime next month) and then £345 in aug ,sept and oct =£1385. I have got at least £100 on quidco so as long as that pays out by october i am there=£1485
if not i may still be able to do it by cutting right down on spending money.
Xmas all done apart from one £10 argos voucher,£18 for OH mag subscription,£10 bon marche voucher (for mum...shes old...bless her ..she likes bon marche lmao) and about another tenner for odds and sods-chocs,secret santa at work etc. have got £43 on mbm that would pay for most of that if they pay out , otherwise i will have novembers paypacket which will be mine all mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0
