Sorry, I need to rant. I'm livid at paypal. A while ago I sold a necklace on Etsy, it only cost £4 and another £2 to send it to the US. The buyer paid, got the necklace and left feedback. Later, paypal decide to investigate the payment and put a hold on the money. Today I have got an email saying that they have reversed the payment, so I have been left with nothing and am £6 out of pocket. I know it isn't a lot but it's MY £6 that they have effectively stolen. The buyer at no point responded to the paypal 'investigation', paypal didn't explain why they were doing it and they haven't explained why they have reversed the transaction. I'm so p*ssed off at them. I want to send a complaint to paypal but I know all they will say is that it is my own fault and that I should have sent it tracked. Shockingly it isn't practical to spend £5+ on tracking when sending a £4 necklace, I'd never sell anything if I did that. I have the proof of postage slip and they could view the etsy feedback but they don't care about that. I really resent generating so much mony for them over the years.

That is disgusting nicki-paypal really are a bunch of highway robbers, i'm not suprised you are so peed off! Why on earth cant they at least explain why it has been done?
i thought you woud have better luck now you are doing etsy instead of ebay but its shame that paypal is stil invloved-is there any other way you can take payment without using them?

I know, I couldn't believe they could take money once it has left your paypal account. If any other business operated like this they wouldn't have any customers. I wish there was another way but basically I don't think people would buy from me if they couldn't use paypal. I can't even really take cheques trough etsy because most buyers are abroad :(.

In good news my horse won again today...
