Hey guys, haven't been on here for a bit, have been reading every day but trying to be good and not stay on for too long (OH gets jealous!). Glad I've left my legacy with the freeness factor of food.
Cath, sorry to hear about the migraines and DD, hope she's feeling better soon.
Nichelette - wow, thats some hoops you gotta jump through to get the job - good luck!
And Hi to everyone else!
I've been reasonably good this week. Cycled to work every day apart from today, not spent too much money on unnecessaries (hmm, is that a word?) except for £2 on a book from Oxfam today and dinner out for a curry last night with friends we havent' seen for ages!
OH is trying to decide whether to take a job as a motorcycle courier cos he's sick of his retail job so we can't pay any money off debts in case we need it to cover us while he gets started. So its a bit slow with the debt coming down at the moment.
But I'm sooooo glad it's friday today - been a long week at work and really looking forward to having a weekend!
Hope everyone elses weekend is starting off alright

Hi aussi, yep the freeness thing has deffo caught on, well done on your low spend week!
my weekend would be good except that i have to work tomorrow ;-( but it is money coming off my debt so :-)0 -
Yeah, that's what I keep telling myself when I work a weekend - it's just so annoying for me that it's a couple of months before I see the money so I just can't feel like the work and the money are connected! Havent' worked for quite a few weekends so am going to have to otherwise I'll have a few lean months on the pay cheque! Do you work full days, or are the weekend hours reduced? I only ever work 5 hours on a Saturday so it doesnt' feel like a real work day.Moved back to Australia March 2010

well mm based on me getting the tax money and a few other bit i am expecting to fill my isa in aptil i will need about £1,800 from october till april is 25 weeks so i will need £72 a week!!! oh my! that might be a problem. although without my debt payments i will have £20 extra a week to save continue to break it down and it looks more managable it is £10.50 a day!
do you think you will be able to fill you isa ok mm ? £3,600 is a lot of money

Night MM
Jen, 10.50 a day sounds so much better than my £300 a month to fill my ISA (but I just worked out that it's about the same, hmm, I'm good at maths me!!). Still, even if it's not filled the money will be working for you and will build up each year! And it's nice to know that the interest is earned, and you get to keep in, not like interest on a credit card that keeps sucking money away!Moved back to Australia March 2010

yeah it will be £10 a day over the whole year to fill the isa.
you are right any money in there is a bonus, i am going to put my tax cheque if i ever get it towards my isa and i am hoping to pay my debt off with out using the money i saved towards it so i will ONLY need £1,800 ish in april to fill the whole years amount (3,600) but then after april i can start saving for the next year and i will need a holiday so i don;t think i will have the full amount that year
it will just be great to make extra money and keep it!!
