Morning all. Have told DD she can stay in bed this morning, her eyes aren't black but they are a little red and swollen. I have phoned her school and they are dealing with it. They are fine about her being off today-she is a bit clingy and in pain.
    (((hugs))) to all

    Morning all.

That's awful Cath, hope your DD is okay.

I haven't managed to dig out the CD player yet as it's under a lot of other rubbish in a huge floor to ceiling cupboard we have, but will hopefully recover it today. I ended up going to my mums yesterday and got some good news on the way, a guy from the job I applied for called me to say he was going to email me the second stage of the process which I need to fill out this weekend. I've looked at the e-mail and this is the process they go through (if I get that far):

Typically the assessment process will include:
    • welcome and icebreaker to help us get to know you
    • presentation by a senior partner on our values and your opportunities
    • one-to-one interview – to get to know you
    • group exercise – how would you confront a business challenge?
    • aptitude tests – these ensure consistency with your online tests
    • case study exercise – you’ll be given plenty of time to prepare
    • second one-to-one interview
    • buffet lunch with some of our graduates.
It seems like a lot, but it costs £100,000 to train someone apparently so if I get an interview I'll need to impress them! (scary). That said I REALLY want the job, the guy said they are having problems filling their quota so I'm hoping they will have me out of desperation :D.

On the money front I'm waiting for a cheque for £47.25 which I will put in my ISA when it arrives, and I'm over £50 in paypal now but won't take that out until a few auctions finish as a couple have bids.
    Finally bought a home

Have decided to put £40 in my isa out of my monthly spend total. that will be used for xmas vouchers, decided it might as well be in there getting interest and then if i do desperately need it i can get it out. Leaves me with £32 for the month (only non essential spending with that tho so just need to restrain myself!)
Just need another £36 for OH magazine subscription for xmas and then another 2 vouchers that i should be able to get from pigsback/valued opinions in time.
Have withdrawn my paypal money from lightspeed (£9), was going to wait for enough for a voucher but i completed ten minutes of a survey earlier before they screened me out!!! so im not doing surveys with them anymore-sod em!
