    i have read somewhere you can put no more that £7,200 into isas in a year. so you can have 2 isas i think?!

    Jen, you can have stocks and shares ISA which you can put £3,600 in per year, and a cash ISa which you are allowed to put the same again in.
    Finally bought a home
    Starting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £181,991.57
    Overpayments since 27.03.19: £59,482.47
    Moving fund so far £4500 - Premium bonds £4,000

    i have spent the money 10 times over in my head must be like winning the lottery. i am finding it hard to remain motervated now i want to spend spend spend but it is bot a good idea...

    why dont you set aside say £50 to treat u and dd to a day out so you feel like u are treating yourself and then be sensible with the rest? Or keep this money for the debt and use your car boot money for treats?

    i know mm i AM going to write a list of the things i want the decide what i want most. i really want an outside tap so i will get that. i am not sure when the cheque will arrive and i am not spending it till i have banked it!! i feel i should save the cheque and continue with my dfw journey as i am learning so much about making saving money and i think i would stop if i was debt free with no motervation.
    i am hoping the cheque for the high school musical tickets arrive tomorrow!!! they are driving me made.

    i am actually very nearl debt free as i had £490 in savings on my thread towards the debt i removed it to motervate me more so i think i am already on the debt free/ saving thread it just needs a name!!!! i want to try and pay the debt without all the savings and tax money then i might have enough for my isa in april

    thats great jen- I was thinking about the new thread- should we carry this one on til the end of 2009? Or start a new one when the first person gets debtfree? I'm fine either way what does anyone else think?
