I have just found out a building that we are doing a report on was built in 1800s as a mental asylum :eek: Gives me the creeps. Just seen pics of it and its horrible looking. Has been turned into flats... why oh why would anyone want to live there?

hi all glad you have had a good day i have had a fantastic day been on training so free lunch :T didn't bother filling the car up as i had a headache
so another no spend day
i just phoned the tax office they recon i paid the right amount last year so no rebate!
then he said he will look at other yearss he said i got a rebate of £72 for 2005 but he said i should have got over £1,000 back he said i paid loads of tax and he has no idea why!!!:j
he said he would sort it out NOW and i should get a cheque in the next 2 weeks!!! wwwwwwwoooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhooooooooooo over £1,000 :T coming my way!!
advice on what to do with it would be welcome i might save it and continue on my dfw challange. as i am learning to spend a lot less etc!!!

Im waiting for a tax rebate from last year, should be around £200 i think, but its taking forever!!!!!! :rolleyes:

I've just applied for a job through monster after spending pretty much all day trying to get my CV and the like perfect...have realised how neurotic I am. I've given myself a headache. It's for a graduate auditing trainee job, and although it doesn't specify a degree having a politics one I doubt I'll get it. Take some time and think what is best for you to do re savings/ debt payments, perhaps put it in your ISA ?0
