I've found this plant growing in a pot of rocket seed, and obviously it's not rocket so I wondered whether anyone might recognise it? It kinda looks familiar but I can't think what it might be.

It's fairly fast growing and has reached this size within a week of germinating, which makes me think it might be a weed but looks too attractive to be a weed

Looks like our lovage plant - that grows so fast that you can see a difference every day in the Spring.0

I'd go for lovage too.0

It doesn't smell of anything in particular.
Interesting that some of you have suggested lovage as, having done a quick google search, it is the same family as angelica.
Now, I bought an angelica gigas last summer, which has since been transplanted in the garden, and I've a feeling it might have come in this pot when I got it. I wonder!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
My lovage smells of mild celery when I crush a leaf.0

This doesn't smell of celery, although it looks very similar to celery, which is what I must have been thinking of when I said it reminded me of something. Maybe it will be easier to identify in a week or two when it's grown bigger

Lovage and angelica look very alike and they both seed like crazy so it could be a baby angelica.0 -

Hi
It looks exactly like my angelica; I've just been down the garden weeding, thought I would check and it's identical. Mine has also grown an awful lot in the last few weeks.0
